Zak Slayback is a venture capital and private equity professional and author aiming to democratize opportunities to startup founders who did not attend college/left their education in search of better opportunities.
He was one of LinkedIn’s most influential voices on education in 2015 and has been published in Newsweek, the New York Examiner, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. He is the author of How to Get Ahead (McGraw-Hill, 2019) and wrote the foreword to John Taylor Gatto's Dumbing Us Down (New Society Publishers, 2017). He lives in the United States and writes at ZakSlayback.com. He is a Eugene S. Thorpe Fellow and FEE alum.
